Solar Energy is renewable and environmentally friendly energy source. At present time using solar cells is the most promising method of solar energy generation. Recently thin film solar cells are becoming more and more important. In this respect Sidrabe pays much attention to this direction. Now Sidrabe has certain knowledge and experience in some technologies for production of materials for the thin film solar cells. Metallic back electrodes, transparent conductive layers for front electrodes, insulating layers, p-i-n layers can be produced on SIDRABE vacuum coaters. |
Different types of our coaters realize PVD and PECVD processes on metallic foils and glass substrates. Sidrabe was involved in European projects, participating as a manufacturer of materials for front and back contacts for solar cells. |
