SIDRABE Inc. has got significant expertise in the development and manufacture of vacuum equipment for coating metal foils and strips. By present, we posses technologies like deposition of:
- Se, Si, St. St., Ti, Cu, Ni, Al, Zn, Mg, TiN onto steel strip
- Al and Cd coating onto nickel strip
- Cu onto aluminum foil
- Various metal and alloys onto copper strip.
The Company accumulated unique skills in the production of so-called free metal foils by vacuum deposition methods:
- mercury-doped magnesium foils
- copper and titanium foils
- foils of titanium alloys.
For commercial realization of the above processes our engineers developed and embodied specific designs of:
- electric arc and electron beam evaporators
- sputtering magnetrons
- induction and resistive evaporators.
A special emphasis should be made on the invention of effective vapor generators for sublime metals like Mg and Zn with vapor utilization factor close to 1.0.
Applications: batteries, anodes of oscillating tubes, antirust coatings, catalysts, fuel cells, electrode materials, absorber coating for solar collectors.
