Display materials

By present Flat Panel Displays have become main data display devices in many products (computer and PDA LCD monitors, television monitors, control system displays, instrument boards in vehicles and aircrafts, displays in electronic watches and calculators etc.).

Manufacture of such devices is based on vacuum deposition of various layers. They are metallic layers for usual electrodes, dielectric insulation layers, antireflection layers to decrease reflection, transparent conductive layers on the basis of Indium-Tin oxide for transparent electrodes.

Deposition of oxide layers, such as ITO, TiO2 and SiO2, is the most complicated process of this production.
The vacuum machines, developed in Sidrabe, allow depositing the above said layers onto various polymer films and glasses (e.g. P600MR for coating polymer films and the In-line sputtering system).

R&D Department of the Company develops processes of new materials deposition, manufactures experimental lots of ITO coated polymer films at wide range of sheet resistance (from 10 Ohm/sq to 300 Ohm/sq).
