| | On the 31st of October 2008 the Ceremony "Riga Award - 2008" was held in the House of Latvian Society. | It is the 7th year in sequence that persons and enterprises, devoting their work to Riga, and Latvia, and thus promoting the name of Latvia worldwide, are granted with the Award of Riga.
Sidrabe Inc. became one of the laureates in nomination "Innovative Activities".
In the response message Nils Veidemanis, the President of Sidrabe", said the following: "Our activities spread mostly in the outer markets, therefore we are especially pleased a lot that our work is appreciated in Riga and Latvia. The Award is the recognition of our efforts in the field of intellectual capital of Latvia, of new vacuum equipment and processes developments, serving for the improvement of Latvia competitiveness in the world. The Award will stimulate us to work for more progress and success in future".
